Banpo Bridge / 반포대교 Fountain Show

We attended the first ever SeoulTube Youtube Meetup last night and it was awesome! We got to meet a lot of people that we’ve only seen on the internets. The meetup was at the park near Banpo Bridge in Seoul. The bridge is really awesome, and we got some video of it. Check it out! It’s called the ‘Moonlight Rainbow Fountain’ and is apparently the largest fountain bridge in the world. I’m not sure how much competition there is in the bridge fountain category, but more power to them regardless. I love a city where someone can say “Hey, lets build a bridge that shoots water out the sides, and then light it up and play romantic music at night.” – and that guy doesn’t get laughed out of the room, but more than likely gets elected mayor. Seems like everywhere we go in this town I find more reasons to love it. You can watch the video in High Definition, which is always cooler, if you click here.

Such a beautiful bridge. Seems like this city addresses the senses and the heart. Neat.

Definitely! Honestly, I never thought about it much until we looked into teaching here. Now that we’ve been in country for a while, though, I love the place! It’s wonderful.
